Wang received her Ph.D. in Chinese Philology from the Department of Chinese Language & Literature at ECNU and her joint Ph.D. from the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a postdoctoral fellow at the Postdoctoral Station of Chinese Language and Literature at Shanghai Normal University.


Research Interests: Textual exegesis, lexicography, teaching Chinese as a foreign language


Projects: 1. General project of Shanghai Social Science Planning in 2020:  Vocabulary Research of Classified Compilation of Mandarin Language, A Mandarin Textbook in Late Qing Dynasty, from the Perspective of the Fusion of Northern and Southern Dialects; 2. Youth project of Shanghai Social Science Planning in 2015: Vocabulary Research of Inscriptions on Ancient Bronze Objects in Western Han and Eastern Han Dynasties, etc.
