Jin is a lecturer with a Ph.D. He focuses on linguistics and applied linguistics, and offers courses including Advanced Chinese Listening and Speaking, Selected Readings in Contemporary Western Linguistics, etc. He leads the Development of Contemporary Chinese Identity Forms and Language Civilization: A Study on Keyboard Input as a Means of Corpus Collection, a general project of National Social Science, 2018.
