Yin is an associate professor with a Ph.D. She serves as Director of the Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Research Center at ECNU, Vice President of Shanghai Arts and Crafts Association, and Director of Shanghai Folk Artists Association. She is engaged in literary theory and folklore, and offers courses including Chinese Folklore, Anthropology and Literature, Intangible Cultural Heritage and Cultural Creativity.
